About the Organisation
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Centre Director / Centre Manager to lead a brand-new, beautifully designed early learning centre opening soon. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape your own team while establishing the centre’s culture from day one, in a collaborative setting where you’ll have the people and resources you need to succeed.

In this role, you’ll enjoy the autonomy to lead with confidence, backed by an approachable and supportive Area Manager who offers guidance without micromanagement. You’ll also be supported daily by a full-time Assistant Director who shares operational duties and a dedicated Educational Leader who drives programming and curriculum — freeing you up to focus on what you do best: inspiring your team and leading with purpose.

Management Responsibilities

• Mentoring and team management in early childhood
• Sound understanding of the Early Learning Years Framework
• Sound understanding of service compliance
• Experience in staff rostering
• Qikkids software or similar
• Strong understanding and experience in performance management
• Experience in financial reporting and budgeting
• Building a positive partnership with families

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma of Children Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised),
• MUST have at least 2-3 years full time experience as a centre director capacity or higher in a medium size service
• Current WWCC or VIT
• Updated First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma
• High Level of written and verbal communication
• Strong understanding and application in staff management
• MUST have Full working rights in Australia
