The Baths Middle Brighton is a multi-faceted facility - All Day Dining Cafe (with Takeaway Kiosk) and Events Space located on the water's edge in Brighton with beachfront Port Philllip Bay & Melbourne city views.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Venue Manager who is motivated, hands-on & committed person to support daily operations and help lead our dynamic team.

(This position requires an autonomous, and resilient solution-focused person to lead & guide our staff into an efficient and productive workday.)
Task will include but not limited to;
Supporting the Venue Manager and the Director in daily operations across the business
Leading front-of-house teams and ensuring exceptional customer service
Assisting with training, mentoring and rostering staff
Overseeing opening/closing procedures and facilitating smooth shift transitions
Managing bookings and floor plans
Assist in implementing service improvements and uphold service standards
Adhering to OH&S and Liquor License compliance
Manage staff rosters and shift checklists
Maintain policy and procedures
Work closely with the Director & general venue manager

Key Qualifications/ Experience
Must have experience in high-volume Cafe, Restaurant & Event operations
Must have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality industry experience
Proven management experience
Hands-on, lived knowledge of food & beverage service
Be a great communicator to lead a young and enthusiastic team
RSA certification essential
Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
