We are seeking a BIM Specialist (Revit MEP) to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile data centre projects, working with a dynamic team in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

The Role

As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models and libraries with a focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) building services. You will perform clash detection, develop accurate architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, and ensure coordination across multiple disciplines. Your work will directly support sales and project delivery and help our teams maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BIM models in Revit and Revit MEP for data centre projects.

Attend site to survey and create MEP building services models, ensuring accuracy and constructability.

Perform clash detection studies and manage issue resolution across design teams.

Produce detailed architectural drafting, mechanical layouts, and electrical schematics.

Support project teams with BIM-related deliverables throughout design and construction phases.

Maintain BIM libraries, standards, templates, and workflows in line with company requirements.

Collaborate closely with internal and external engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure coordinated design outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

Australian Citizen and/or the ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government security clearance

Proficiency in Revit and Revit MEP with demonstrated project experience.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services modelling.

Experience in clash detection (e.g., using Navisworks or similar tools).

Demonstrated drafting skills in architectural, mechanical, and electrical schematics.

Portfolio of previous work (preferred) showcasing BIM and drafting experience.

Knowledge of BIM standards and documentation practices.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, or drafting (preferred).
