Project Engineer - Data Centres
Location: Melbourne
Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 pending experience

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of data centre construction and fit-out projects. Working on-site, you will collaborate with project teams to ensure commercial and contractual obligations are met, while driving progress in a high-energy, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of commercial and contractual aspects of data centre construction projects.
• Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Contribute to cost control, reporting, and documentation processes.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a project coordinator or engineer, supporting large scale data centre, or mission critical projects
• Prior involvement in data centre construction projects highly desireable.
• Understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and project delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail
