About the Opportunity
Join a dynamic and collaborative IT Service Desk team supporting a leading Defence consultancy client. This Canberra-based role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and delivering high-quality technical support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management: Deliver prompt first-level support, triage and resolve hardware/software issues, and escalate when needed.

User & Systems Administration: Manage user accounts, devices, and applications, ensuring compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards.

Network Administration: Administer local Windows servers, storage, switches, and backups.

Asset Maintenance: Maintain IT and AV equipment, manage asset records, and support hardware/software lifecycle.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to resolve issues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Continuous Improvement: Update support documentation, train users, and suggest process enhancements.

Documentation: Maintain system administration procedures and records.

Skills & Experience

TAFE-level qualifications in IT or equivalent hands-on experience.

Proven experience in IT Service Desk support.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments: AD Services, Teams, Intune, 365 Admin Centres, TeamViewer, Windows 10/11, Office 365.

Experience with LAN, SAN, NAS, Elastic Search, and Linux.

ITILv4 certification highly regarded.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
