Ignite is currently recruiting for a Legal Support Officer in Brisbane’s CBD. Starting on a 6 month contract with full time hours & potential for extension!

If you pride yourself on your ability to respond to pressure in fast-paced environments, understand legislative frameworks, have prior administrative experience (preferably in the Government sector), and have strong interpersonal skills – this may be the role for you!

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Administration of case files, filing, data entry and other general administrative tasks
• Responding to enquiries in a timely manner
• Drafting subpoenas, lodging documentation, and other related tasks
• Liaising with courts and counsel
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality customer service
• Demonstrate attention to detail and make good records
• Maintain sound professional working relationships with the public, stakeholders and colleagues

Selection Criteria:

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Responsive and adaptable to high pressure environments
• Able to meet tight and/or changing deadlines
• Able to work autonomously and within a team
• Australian Citizenship: you must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance. Candidates with an existing baseline clearance are highly regarded.
• Must be able to work full time hours - completely on site
