A1 Access and Rentals are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters for a broad range of positions in our business, based in the Northern Territory

Causal Position - until the end of the 2025 (relocation and ongoing work for the right candidate)

FIFO Position 2:1 roster - Flights, Accom and Vehicle included

Perform on-site servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs to mobile plant, including heavy earth-moving equipment, trucks, generators, small wash plant and light vehicles.

Prepare new machines to site specification requirements.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and attend machine breakdowns on site.

Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to diagnose faults and coordinate parts.

Major engine and component rebuilds.

Candidate Skills & Experience:

Relevant Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent

2+ years of fitting experience

Extensive experience working with Caterpillar and Volvo equipment, highly regarded

Field service experience

Experience working with hydraulics

Strong focus on safety and quality
