Full Time - FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

Illawarra based Tread Right Podiatry & Biomechanics is currently looking for a Permanent Full-Time Front Office Receptionist, commencing mid October 2025.

Ideally the applicant will have a minimum 2 years reception experience, be energetic, and have a desire to learn. The position is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, as a Level 7 $31.19 per hour pay rate in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (MA000027).

As a local, Woonona based, small business, our team efficiently works together to provide high quality podiatry care to our clients. We are a busy, fast paced clinic that provides our services to a wide range of clients across a multitude of ages, demographics, abilities and cultural backgrounds.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent IT skills including being able to perform intermediate level word processing, create and update spreadsheets, interact professionally via email, and be able to assist with the efficient and secure management and storing of electronic patient records

Exceptional telephone and interpersonal skills

Willing to perform sterilisation of medical utensils

Ability to communicate with and relate to individuals with disabilities, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as individuals of all ages.

Exceptional organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail

Confidence in dealing with cash handling, invoicing and receipting

Well spoken, well presented and well mannered

Ability to work in a busy environment with limited supervision

Excellent time management skills

Have/or willing to obtain prior to commencing, a Working with Children Check (employee), NDIS Workers Screening and National Police Check

Non-Essential/Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of the Medicare, MyAgedCare and NDIS billing systems

Knowledge of practice management software, Halaxy
