The Role
As a proudly Anglican school, and a demonstrably values-led organisation, All Saints’ is seeking an educator able to inspire curiosity and enquiry of young minds. A Junior School Teacher is directly responsible to the Director of Junior School. For teaching and curriculum matters: those with a specific Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 teaching role are also responsible to the Assistant Director of Junior School (Early Learning); and those with a specific Years 3 to 6 teaching role are also responsible to the Assistant Director of Junior School (Teaching and Learning). For matters of wellbeing, Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2, teaching staff are responsible to the Assistant Director of Junior School (Early Learning) and for Years 3 to 6, the Assistant Director of Junior School (Wellbeing).
Key Responsibilities:
Create a learning environment using a variety of teaching strategies, which stimulate interest in learning and promote a striving to fulfil academic, spiritual, social, emotional and physical potential.
Plan and develop teaching/learning programs in key learning areas, which reflect and incorporate the College Mission Statement and Curriculum Framework.
Use a range of assessment and evaluation techniques to provide multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate knowledge and skill.
About You
Available to commence at the College in Term 1, 2026 you are a qualified, experienced and dynamic primary teacher, who innovatively and creatively utilises technology to leverage inquiry learning in a Junior School context. Cognisant of current curriculum developments and initiatives, you consistently strive to provide an engaging learning experience for your students – one that reflects pedagogical best practice.
You agree with a holistic approach to education where learning is balanced with the pursuit of emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing, and can demonstrate your:
familiarity with current curriculum and pedagogical developments.
commitment to nurturing the individual student, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
commitment to self-development and a desire to be part of a dynamic education team.
tertiary qualifications in a related discipline with Early Childhood qualifications
current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
National Police Clearance Certificate; and
ability to uphold and support the College’s Anglican ethos and maintain a current Working with Children Clearance during employment with the College.
