About the facility
Uniting Caroona Yamba is a warm and welcoming aged care home in the beautiful beachside heart of the NSW north coast. Uniting Caroona Yamba has five separate households, each with between 15–22 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community thrives and engages in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Uniting Yamba, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional person-centred care to our residents. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will ensure that each resident receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee clinical care within the household model
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate individual care plans
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, and advocate for residents’ needs
- Supervise and mentor Personal Care Workers
- Use your clinical judgment and decision-making skills to ensure best-practice care
- Promote and maintain evidence-based nursing practice and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards

Who we’re looking for
You are an empathetic and adaptable professional with a passion for person-centred care. You are a natural leader, strong communicator, and committed to excellence.
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing degree
- Experience in aged care, community care, or the wider health sector
- Ability to work collaboratively and embody Uniting’s values: compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
- Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
