Overview of role:
Coliban Water is seeking an Information Management Analyst to play a key role in delivering our Enterprise Information & Records Management plan. In this role, you’ll partner with teams across the business to uncover information challenges, assess gaps, and drive better practices. With a strategic lens and strong analytical skills, you’ll help shape and implement an enterprise-wide information governance strategy that turns complex data into clear, actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Information Management Analyst, you’ll be accountable for:
Acting as a subject matter expert for providing knowledge in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, etc), supporting integration, governance, and user guidance.
Evaluate current systems and data quality, maintain the Information Asset Register, and provide reports with recommendations for improvement.
Support the development of governance policies, gap assessments, and implementation plans to strengthen information management practices.
Act as the first point of contact, deliver advice, training, and workshops, and collaborate with teams to ensure adoption of best practices.
Develop clear documentation, reports, and presentations, while facilitating effective communication across the organisation.
About you:
A tertiary degree in information management, library studies, records management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven track record of partnering with change management, business analysis, and diverse stakeholders to drive outcomes in complex organisations.
Demonstrated expertise in records compliance, information audits, risk assessments, and equipping staff with best practice information management skills.

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 $93,548 - $112,895 + Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.

Coliban Water was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority.
Coliban Region Water Authority became the Coliban Region Water Corporation on July 1, 2007.
The Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Water, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, and our shareholder is the Victorian Government.
We are one of the larger Victorian Regional urban water corporations.
We manage, maintain and operate 35 reservoirs and water storage basins across North-Central Victoria and provide water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,550 sqkm.
Our service region includes 49 towns, extending from Cohuna and Echuca in the north to Kyneton and Trentham in the south.
The western boundary incorporates Boort, Wedderburn, Bealiba and Dunolly and the eastern boundary includes Heathcote and Tooborac.
