Our client is a membership based organisation with a proud history. Following the retirement of the current postholder, they are seeking a new team member to join a small membership team supporting c. 10 000 members across Australia.
Responsibilities will include:
Management of the membership database (IMIS) in terms of adding new members and updating member information such as bank details, address and contact details.
Database reporting - provision of segmentation reports as requested by management
Following up with members on missed payments by call, SMS and email.
Sending out communications to members via SMS and email. Proofreading content supplied by internal stakeholders.
Answering incoming enquiries from members via email and phone.
The role is suited to a strong administrator with demonstrable experience of working with databases and confident engagement skills. The demands of the role are varied and you may need to respond to management requests quickly so you will have a high degree of initiative. You will be flexible and used to working in a small team environment.
You will have a supportive team and the opportunity to learn new tasks as you will also provide cover for team members during periods of absence. You will be confident in speaking to people on the phone and have a happy to help approach. You will be someone looking for a long term administration role - this is not a career stepping stone opportunity.
Please note this role is full time office based; Monday - Friday. The role is based on the city fringe close to public transport options. If driving, there are car parks located close by but parking is self-funded.
