About the role
As a Senior Clinical Educator in Nuclear Medicine, you will play a central role in shaping the next generation of Nuclear Medicine Technologists while contributing directly to high-quality patient care. Primarily based at Lyell McEwin Hospital, you’ll manage undergraduate and supervised practice programs, ensuring students and new staff receive diverse, practical, and supportive clinical learning experiences. You’ll also contribute to professional development programs and quality improvement initiatives across the department.
This role combines hands-on clinical expertise with teaching and mentoring, offering the chance to provide advanced imaging services, support departmental education strategies, and influence the ongoing growth of Nuclear Medicine practices. About You
You are an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a strong background in clinical practice, education, and mentoring.
Degree in Medical Radiations or equivalent, entitling registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, teach, and mentor students and technologists in a clinical setting.
Extensive experience across a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and Bone Densitometry.
Subject to vaccination and clearance requirements.
