About the role
As a Senior Pharmacist with SA Pharmacy, you’ll take responsibility for the management and delivery of high-quality pharmacy services within your designated area. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic responsibility, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on patient care. You will provide advanced therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals, while ensuring the safe and cost-effective use of medicines across hospital and community settings.
Working within Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS), you’ll play a key role in mentoring staff, developing service improvements, and contributing to clinical research and education. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a progressive team that values collaboration, professional development, and innovation in pharmacy practice.
About You
You are a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist who brings clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to optimising patient outcomes.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current registration (or eligibility) with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, including leadership, supervisory or management roles
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to educate, mentor and train staff
Subject to vaccination and clearance requirements.
