About the role
As a Medical Scientist – Cellular Therapies Clinical Trials Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of delivering advanced, patient-specific therapies to individuals undergoing treatment for haematological and other serious conditions. Based within SA Pathology’s Cellular Therapies Laboratory, you'll coordinate the delivery and infusion of investigational cell therapy products, working closely with trial sponsors, clinical teams, and logistics partners.
This highly collaborative role spans key South Australian sites including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Women’s and Children’s Hospital. From bedside delivery and cryogenic storage to SOP development and regulatory compliance, you'll contribute directly to high-impact clinical trials and life-changing treatment pathways.
About You
You’re a qualified Medical Scientist who thrives in a complex, fast-paced clinical trial environment and has a passion for innovation in patient care. You’ll bring precision, professionalism and flexibility to every task. Energetic and proactive, you possess excellent people skills, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to prioritise effectively. You’re confident in self-managing your workload while also coordinating others and leading project-based activities with clarity and commitment.
Tertiary qualification in Laboratory/Medical Science with eligibility for SA Pathology medical scientist accreditation
Experience in clinical trials, cell therapy processing, or related laboratory environments
Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills with a quality-focused mindset
Subject to vaccination and clearance requirements.
