The Opportunity
As a Clinical Care Coordinator of a Youth Enhanced Service (YES) you will be responsible for providing mental health care coordination to young people aged 12-25 years of age as well as their families and carers (as appropriate).
The Coordinator role supports young people who present with diverse mental health concerns as well as their family, friends and carers. Adelaide YES aims to provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate and family-inclusive care, and this role is an important part of the multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or related disciplines with a minimum three-year undergraduate degree in medical or allied health disciplines and post-graduate experience in the field demonstrating the ability to support young people.
Demonstrated skills and experience in monitoring risk, managing complex presentations, and coordinating care for young people.
Demonstrated experience engaging with and knowledge of young people with mental health, disabilities, alcohol and other drug, and other social issues.
Demonstrated ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, including young people, their family, friends, carers as well as other agencies, and the wider community.
Experience in delivering skills for independent living, budgeting, building social connections, and increasing access to community organizations.
Exceptional ability to engage and communicate with groups of people, tailoring communication to suit a specific target group or age range.
Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and experiences of young people from diverse backgrounds, including young people who are culturally and linguistically diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and LGBTQIA+.
Experience in the delivery of group programs to support young people and their families and friends
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster sound relationships with people at all levels, including the ability to participate in, develop and maintain productive and sustainable community and professional partnerships to enhance youth health outcomes
Desirable: Knowledge of local youth/heath sectors, knowledge of Youth Enhanced Service Model (Orygen) and an understanding of trauma informed practice.
Other Requirements
This position requires travel, telehealth, home visits, and overnight stays. Flexibility in hours is necessary for this role.
Successful applicants will also need to hold a ‘C’ class Open driver licence, State Working with Children Check.
