- Salary range: $6683.90 p.f. (Nurse Grade 11)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

The Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking a visionary Nursing Director, Clinical Education & Research to spearhead a cutting-edge framework for Nursing and Midwifery education and research.
This pivotal leadership role offers the opportunity to drive strategic innovation, foster academic excellence, and build sustainable workforce development across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Collaborating with dynamic nursing and midwifery teams and key stakeholders, you'll champion a culture of learning, inquiry, and professional growth that aligns with both national standards and THHS priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
- Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.

The Townsville Hospital and Health Service comprises 18 hospitals and community health campuses and two residential aged care facilities.
