Catering Chef – Billy Goat Catering (Charlestown, NSW 2290)

Permanent Part Time Position-20-38 hours per week (usually Wednesday-Saturday)

8 weeks accrued annual leave

6 monthly bonus

About the Role:
Billy Goat Catering is seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to assist in leading our kitchen operations both in-house and at off-site events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality chef looking for work-life balance in a supportive and creative environment.

What You’ll Do:

Manage kitchen operations and food preparation

Lead and motivate team across multiple event types

Ensure high-quality food preparation, productivity and consistency

Oversee kitchen logistics for off-site catering (weddings, corporate, private events)

Work closely with event cordinator and venues to provide smooth running of events

Potential for a salary position once proven in the position

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a chef in a high standard environment (catering experience a plus) but not essential

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction

Current food safety certification
