Sharp & Carter is proud to be working exclusively with one of Australia's largest distribution marketing groups. Sharp & Carter has been exclusively engaged by this international organisation in their search for a Commercial Finance Business Partner (Supply Chain + Retail) to join their high performing commercial finance team based in the western fringes of the CBD.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, the primary purpose of your role will be partner with their wholesale and retail network to improve business performance, margins and profitability. You will provide in depth and timely analysis and be the key point of contact within the finance team. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Help provide more insights on key variances and help the supply chain team better understand key information to improve business performance, margins and profitability.
• Lead the month end, forecast and budget process from a finance perspective
• Identification of continuous process improvements
• Driving financial performance of the supply chain operations
• Partner with and advise non-financial operational Managers
• Providing value-add analysis
• Preparation of the annual budget and assistance with the 5-Year Strategic Plan
• Identifying ongoing process improvements
• Ad hoc product, facility and supply chain analysis

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree with extensive experience out of an FMCG / Retail organisation. You will have partnered with supply chain stakeholders with exceptional communication skills. Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential.
