As a Finance Business Partner, you will oversee group financial reporting and consolidations, while working closely with business leaders to provide insights that support informed decision-making. This is a role where you can balance technical expertise with commercial impact, making it ideal for a finance professional who wants to grow in a broad and visible position.

The Challenge

As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading month-end close, reporting, and preparing monthly consolidated group management accounts.
• Compile and prepare monthly Board and Executive reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity,
• and alignment with organisational objectives.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, commentary, and variance explanations to support
• strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic and
• operational decision-making, whilst acting as a key point of contact for financial advice across business units
• Monitoring and strengthening internal controls, policies, and processes.
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Contributing to projects that improve systems, reporting, and financial processes.

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualification.
• Solid experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally gained in a complex, multi-entity or multi-site environment.
• Exposure to management reporting, business partnering and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with advanced Excel and ERP systems skills.
• A collaborative style, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
• Experience within Food Retail, Retail, FMCG, or similar industries, will be well regarded.
