The Role
As a Senior Loss Adjuster / Claims Preparer, you will:
Manage a portfolio of predominantly commercial claims along with domestic, strata and landlord claims from start to final settlement
Conduct on-site assessments, investigating cause and extent of damage
Provide clear, timely communication and advice to policyholders, brokers, and insurers
Prepare detailed, high-quality reports and recommendations
Work closely with contractors, service providers, and other experts to progress claims
Support catastrophe response when required (national and international travel may be required)
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
Experienced in insurance, ideally in loss adjusting or claims management (or senior claims consulting)
Strong in report writing, analysis, and stakeholder communication
Organised, logical, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Empathetic, professional, and customer-focused
Keen to continue professional development and contribute to team success
Qualifications & Requirements:
Loss adjusting or related qualifications preferred (or progress towards)
Tertiary studies in law, accounting, or related discipline highly regarded
Current driver’s licence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
