As a Settlement Advisor, you will play a crucial role in handling and managing the settlement process for claims in our Third Party Care team at Youi. Our Settlements team utilise strong communication skills to effectively negotiate, with other insurance companies, the best outcome on behalf of Youi clients. This team proactively liaises with Third Parties, reviews liability and works to mitigates costs for a fair and transparent outcome.

About The Role

• Onsite and full-time, Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnightly schedule
• Review and mitigate costs sent by other insurance companies looking to recover funds
• Negotiate with other insurers to find a resolution that works for both companies
• Liaise with Youi customers and other third parties at various stages of the claims process
• Gather information, review liability, and use road rules and legal precedents

About You

• Knowledge of the insurance claims process is advantageous
• Previous experience in debt collection and/or paralegal is highly regarded
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Conflict resolution expertise with confidence
• Strong time management skills and multitasking ability
• Team player mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
