Love working with kids? Looking for a flexible, casual role where you can really make a difference? We’re looking for a Certificate III Educator to join our team on a casual basis at our Glendale Preschool.

At Awabakal, we’ve been supporting Aboriginal families and communities in Newcastle for over 40 years. Our preschools are fun, welcoming places where culture is celebrated, and kids feel safe to learn, explore, and grow.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting children’s learning through play

Helping with daily routines and activities

Creating a calm, inclusive, and culturally safe space

Building great relationships with the kids and their families

Working closely with a friendly and supportive team

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
✔️ First Aid, Child Protection, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certs
✔️ Some experience in early learning settings
✔️ A warm, positive attitude
✔️ Understanding of the EYLF & NQS
✔️ Driver’s licence
✔️ Someone who loves working with community and culture
