ABOUT THE ROLE
St Joseph’s Family Services are seeking Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated and supportive teams across our centers.
We currently have the following opportunities available:
St Agnes’ Early Education Centre – Fixed Term Contract (12 months), 44 hours per fortnight, working 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care – Full Time, Permanent, 76 hours per fortnight, Monday – Friday.
St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care – Part Time, Permanent, 45.6 hours per fortnight, weekdays between Monday – Friday.
Casual Positions – Available across all three centres.
Our educators are primarily based in one centre but may, at times, be called upon to support across our three services – St Agnes’ Early Education Centre, Joey’s House Early Education Centre, and St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care – contributing to the skills and experience across our organisation.

WHO YOU ARE
Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or can demonstrate actively working towards your Diploma qualification
You are committed to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
NSW Working with Children Check clearance or the ability to obtain
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and families
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and how it relates to the program and development for children
Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to build positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators
Intermediate computer skills
Demonstrated commitment to providing quality early education and care
Be prepared to work across weekdays between 7.00 AM - 17:40 PM
