This is your chance to lead a dedicated team in maintaining the beauty and safety of Stirling’s iconic beaches. You’ll be hands-on, operating specialised equipment, supporting your team, and making a visible impact every day. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading by example, and keeping our coastline clean and safe—this is the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily beach cleaning operations
- Operate beach cleaning vehicles and equipment
- Allocate and supervise team tasks
- Maintain vehicles and conduct pre-start checks
- Monitor and report site safety issues
- Communicate via two-way radio
- Assist with rostering and shift coverage
- Act in Team Leader role when required
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping our beaches clean and safe. You’ll ideally bring:
- Year 10 certificate or equivalent
- HR class driver’s licence
- Current First Aid and Police Clearance
- Ability to operate beach cleaning equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and early shifts
- Experience supervising teams and contractors
- Proactive approach to task completion
