Structural, Mechanical & Piping Project Engineer – FIFO | Olympic Dam

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) to join our team, working on-site at Olympic Dam on a Fly In Fly Out roster. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key part in the coordination, management, QA/QC, and delivery of small to medium-sized projects within a dynamic resources environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of SMP projects from concept through to delivery.

Oversee QA/QC requirements to ensure compliance with engineering standards and client expectations.

Assist with project management functions including scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, and reporting.

Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.

Provide technical input and problem-solving support across scopes

Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and project delivery outcomes.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or equivalent trade experience.

Previous project engineering experience in resources, mining, or heavy industry (SMP background preferred).

Strong understanding of QA/QC, technical standards, and site-based project delivery.

Effective communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Ability to work in a site-based FIFO capacity on a rostered arrangement.
