The Mine, Project & Roster

Enjoy working at the Olympic Dam Mine, an iconic Australian mine on the map of global mining. The project has 3 years left to run with highly likely extensions.

• Roster - 7-day shifts, 7-night shifts, 14 days off
• FIFO on Tuesday (fly into site in company time, home in your own time)
• Excellent camp with sports facilities, a wet mess and recreational areas
• Camp located a short drive to the mine site

The Duties

Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site.

• Depending on your skills the role will be workshop, field service or both
• Duties include; PM work, scheduled maintenance, servicing, major component changeouts, general repairs, breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving
• Machinery - CAT trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, Atlas drills, Scania trucks

FIFO, Accommodation and Meals

You'll enjoy a FIFO set up where accommodation and meals will be provided at the Olympic Dam mining camp. Travel in on day one will be paid, you'll finish early on shift 14 and head home in your own time. Other benefits include;-

Your value

Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant, Ag, forestry or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following;-

• Cert III trade qualifications in diesel mechanical (heavy vehicles or plant)
• A strong desire to forward your skills in the mining industry
• An excellent attitude towards work and safety values
• Pasion for mechanics and forwarding your skills
• A team player and able to work autonomously
• Reliable and dedicated to the position
