Hoys Work Health, part of the Healthia network, is seeking an enthusiastic Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Coffs Harbour. We also welcome subcontractors across NSW.

This role is available on a full-time, part-time, or subcontractor basis, making it ideal for experienced allied health practitioners passionate about workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation.

With over 35 practitioners across five Mid North Coast locations, Hoys Work Health as part of Hoys Allied Health has been delivering high-quality physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, remedial massage and occupational therapy since 2006. The Role

You will work autonomously while also being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. Your caseload will be varied and may include (pending qualification):

Conducting workplace, functional capacity, ergonomic, and/or vocational assessments.

Reviewing medical information to determine functional abilities and limitations.

Identifying barriers and supports to return-to-work.

Developing tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans in line with the worker’s capabilities, medical advice, and employer needs.

Coordinating services between employers, insurers, medical practitioners, and other stakeholders.

Monitoring and reviewing progress against rehabilitation goals.

Delivering manual handling training, ergonomic advice, and workplace health programs to reduce injury risks.

Preparing timely and accurate reports.

Essential Criteria

Accredited as one of the following professionals:

Rehabilitation Counsellor

Occupational Therapist

Physiotherapist

Exercise Physiologist

Provisional Psychologist

Registered Nurse

Social Worker

A minimum of 3 years’ industry experience.

Current Driver’s Licence.
