What are the key responsibility of the role?
As the Senior Advisor - State Delivered Kindergarten you will:
- Support the functions of the Regional Director (as Person with Management and Control) by enhancing quality and consistent service delivery within and across SDKs to guide continuous improvement (performance) within the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Educational (Provisions General) Act 2006Fa (EGPA).
- Work with State Delivered Kindergarten schools and corporate State Delivered Kindergarten staff to maintain appropriate risk mitigation strategies and meet minimum operational requirements within the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and Education and Care Services Act 2013 (risk management). Where minimum requirements have been embedded, strive for quality in all aspects of service delivery in SDK.
About You!
- Identifies challenges and opportunities, and formulates and implements innovative and workable solutions to drive organisational performance in line with strategic and operational planning (at divisional and regional level).
- Supports [lead and participate] the development of major briefings, reports and submissions (regionally & centrally) on request as directed and/or advised by Director and/or Regional Director.
- Promotes inclusive developmental practices with State Delivered Kindergartens to support a strong start for all children.
This position is based in Townsville. The position requires extensive travel to remote and rural communities.
