About the Role:
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment brands through sales and hire of their equipment throughout four countries in the World and in addition, they also have a comprehensive after-sales divisions for servicing and parts.
A position is now available for a driven and conscientious person who has stores and warehousing experience, a forklift licence and a knowledge of parts in either light vehicle, heavy vehicle, ag, construction or mining equipment. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with internal and external customers, sourcing parts, inwards/outwards goods, stocktakes, inventory and upkeep of the stores area. The successful applicant will need to have intermedfiate computer skills, the ability to be able to accurately gather information, understand it and keep accurate records. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and who is looking to join the organisation for the long-term.

Duties:
- Handle face to face, phone and email enquiries
- Provide quotations and process customer orders
- Build and maintain professional client relationships
- Inwards & Outwards Goods
- Forklift Operation
- Checking stock orders & following up on back orders
- Maintaining an accurate and clean warehouse
- Stocktake & Inventory cycle counts
- Interpreting parts requests from the Workshop & taking care of the transfer and delivery of parts to workshop
- Transferring parts back from workshop and relocating them when no longer needed
- Maintaining a safe workplace by complying with all health and safety legislation
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years experience in a stores/warehousing role
- Professional Phone Manner essential
- A high level of computer skills
- Mechanically minded and/or parts experience in light vehicle, agriculture, heavy vehicle or mobile plant machinery
- Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Hard worker, who is honest and reliable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Forklift licence highly desirable
- Drivers Licence
- Physically fit, with the ability to undertake heavy lifting
- MUST be in Australia and have full working rights.
