Australis Caravans is a boutique Caravan Manufacturer, with over 30 years of industry experience and part of the RV Master Manufacturer Program.

Due to growth within the business, Australis is looking for its next set of hands to support the production manager in manufacturing high quality products.

About the role:

A unique role within a close-knit team to drive the assembly function of Caravans, by fitting off, installing, securing, and sealing components. The requirement to operate a forklift is part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Fit internal and external caravan components.

Installation of panels, trims, windows and awnings.

Use of powered hand tools.

Fitting and adjusting of support legs, bumper bars, cupboard doors/hinges and gas bottle holders.

Work with timber and aluminum structures.

Operate counterbalance forklift to move parts, unload deliveries and move caravans.

Skills and experience:

At least 2 years’ experience within the Caravan Manufacturing Industry or experience in a Trade or Assembly role.

Ability to read and interpret designs/drawings.

Strong attention to detail

2 years’ experience operating a forklift.
