About the Role

Mera Chemicals is looking for an experienced Chemical Batching & Manufacturing Operator to join our team at our Sunshine West production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality chemical products used across various industries. What You’ll Be Doing:

Operating, batching, and monitoring chemical production equipment to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Conducting quality checks on each batch and making necessary adjustments to maintain product standards.

Recording detailed production data, including batch information, material usage, and equipment performance.

Assisting with setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance of batching and production equipment.

Identifying and reporting issues, while suggesting potential process or batching improvements.

Collaborating with the team to meet daily and weekly batching and production targets.

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Participating in company training programs and external team-building activities as directed by management.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience in Chemical Batching & Manufacturing
✅Current Forklift Licence (required)
Both LF and LO forklift licences would be treated favourably.
✅Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence (required).
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
✅ Ability to interpret technical specifications and production data.
✅ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
✅ Good communication and teamwork skills.
✅ A relevant trade certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred
