Chef
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join the team in a large residential aged care facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that bring comfort, connection, and joy to residents.

• Full-Time, rotating roster (5 days)
• $30-32/hour + superannuation & salary packaging

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetising meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance mealtime experiences.
• Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
• Oversee menu planning, stock control, and kitchen budgeting.
• Continually evaluate and improve catering services for cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.

Key Requirements / Skills:

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally within aged care or large-scale catering.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Queensland Driver’s Licence (Manual Required).
