This role is critical in ensuring the stability, reliability, and optimal performance of our finance systems, supporting the finance function and broader business in BAU operations.
This is not a project-heavy role. It’s built around steady, ongoing support, user enablement, troubleshooting, and system optimisation within the context of the existing finance systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for all Dynamics BC-related issues, queries, and support requests from the Finance and related business teams
• Maintain system integrity and performance through regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Dynamics BC
• Support finance processes such as AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close activities through systems expertise
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to log, track, and resolve incidents or minor change requests
• Ensure system configurations and setups support BAU requirements and are aligned with finance and audit policies
• Deliver user training, guidance, and documentation to promote effective use of the system
• Assist in routine data loads, reconciliations, and reporting tasks as needed
• Identify opportunities for process/system improvements and assist with minor enhancements and configuration updates
• Stay informed on Dynamics BC updates/releases and assess potential impact on existing processes

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Finance Systems Analyst, Systems Accountant, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
• Solid understanding of core finance processes (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, GL, month-end)
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable supporting end-users in a fast-paced, BAU environment
• Experience managing permissions, users, and roles in ERP systems
• Familiarity with finance reporting tools and basic SQL or Power BI (Nice to have)
• Good communication skills
• Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting
• Microsoft Dynamics BC certification (Nice to have)

Salary
Up to 130k + S
