Administration role with Allied Health Clinic
Due to growth, we are looking to add a full-time or part time staff member to our admin team. We are looking for an experienced, easy to get along with team player to play an important front end role in helping our clients through their healthcare journey.
The position will be based at our Edwardstown Clinic, with the initial training block to be undertaken at Woodville. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 5.00pm and Fridays 9.00am to 4.00pm (no weekend work is required), however there is scope for slightly reduced and adjusted hours from these, if required.
We provide full training and on-going support/mentoring with structured role progression.
We encourage your application if you have experience working in a health related administrative role.
What you'll be doing
Customer Service: Providing a warm, efficient, and friendly welcome to all clients. Providing information to assist with referral pathways.
Appointment book: Managing the appointment book for our Allied Health Practitioners
Phones: Answering our client enquiries via phone, email and text
Continuous improvement: displaying the initiative to continue to build on knowledge base to assist in efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative processes.
What we're looking for
Team collaboration: Able to work as part of an administration team as well as independently when required
Experience in health and /or medical environment, making appointments, managing referrals, processing billing / payments, etc.
Excellent communication skills via the telephone and in person when greeting patients
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
Experience in booking appointments for multiple practitioners and/or multiple clinics
Ability to follow administrative procedures
Proficient in the use of clinical software systems
Understanding of confidentiality and the Privacy Act
