Are you a qualified, experienced Lead Technician / Diagnostic Technician with a passion for precision, problem solving and hands on excellence?

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to take on a key role in our team, specialising in Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles! This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in diagnostics, but is also willing to be hands-on across all aspects of workshop operations - including stepping into a leadership role when required.

Position Overview:

As our Lead Technician / Diagnostic Technician, you will take the lead on advanced diagnostics and complex repairs using TOPIx Cloud and SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics). From in-depth fault finding and module programming to software updates and electrical trouble shooting, your expertise will play a critical role in our workshop.

You will also be expected to:

Step into the Workshop Manager's role during his absence - helping co-ordinate workflow, support technicians and maintain workshop standards.

Carry out general maintenance and repairs as required - from servicing to mechanical repairs - ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the wider team.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior or Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician

In-depth experience with Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles

Strong hands-on repair and trouble shooting skills

Confident using TOPIx Cloud and SDD diagnostic tools

Excellent understanding of vehicle electrical and control systems

Leadership skills and ability to support or step into management role as needed

Willingness to assist with general servicing and mechanical repairs when required

Factory training or manufacturer certifications (highly regarded)

Fully qualified with NSW Motor Trade certifications.
