About the role

Kickstart your career as an Occupational Therapist with Metro North Health in our 2026 New Graduate program. Based across a range of Metro North Health facilities, you'll rotate through diverse clinical areas, delivering evidence-based care to support patients' independence and quality of life. Working as part of an interprofessional team, you'll gain hands-on experience in assessment, intervention, patient education, discharge planning, and quality improvement projects, all under the guidance of senior clinicians. This temporary full-time HP3.1 role offers professional development opportunities, supervision, and the chance to contribute to a dynamic service that values teamwork, learning, and patient-centred care.

About you

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated new graduate Occupational Therapists who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive health service. You will bring:

  • A commitment to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within interprofessional teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, time management, and adaptability across diverse clinical settings.
  • A willingness to participate in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the health and wellbeing of our diverse Metro North communities.

Applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged and welcomed.
