About the Role
Diamond Protection are seeking Maritime Security Guards (MSGs) to operate at the Port Alma Shipping Terminal on a casual, ad-hoc basis. MSGs are responsible for controlling access to site, monitoring site perimeters and restricted areas for breaches using both physical patrols and CCTV monitoring systems, reporting, and managing visitors and temporary access.

About You
We are looking for MSGs who conduct themselves professionally, with exceptional customer service and good computer skills. Experience with Access Control Systems and CCTV monitoring systems would be an advantage, but is not a mandatory requirement. You will have good attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Successful candidates will require the following qualifications. If you do not hold the below qualifications, assistance may be provided where needed.
Class 1 QLD Security License (minimum Certificate II in Security Operations)
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or the ability to obtain (Diamond will assist with this).
Drivers' licence - Company vehicle will be provided for travel to site.
