Field Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician with experience in a diverse range of manufacturing machinery to join a strong and highly-skilled engineering team in our Burwood location.

Ideally, the right candidate will be a factory trained technician within key technologies such as waterjet, vertical storage systems, and automated storage systems within sheet metal.

Essential attributes of the right candidate is someone that is commitment to continual learning and development, happy to travel locally and interstate, with a willingness to provide a superior client experience.

Role responsibilities

This role is specifically for maintenance, installation and repair work of automated and vertical storage technology and waterjets.

To service and support our clients locally and interstate as required.

Build and maintain a positive service relationship with Headland customers, to ensure a superior client experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and experience

Five years' experience minimum in a similar Service Technician role is required.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude on manufacturing machinery.

A willingness to learn new skills by undertaking training in the machinery we sell and service.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Specific OEM factory training is highly desired and will be an advantage.

Experience within our key brands such as Hanel, OMAX, STOPA and TRUMPF is required.

The ideal candidate must have a willingness to expand their technical skills across the Headland product range.
