As Empact's Executive General Manager Consulting & Commercial, you'll play a pivotal role in leading growth and impact through strategic leadership, commercial success, and building strong external partnerships. What you'll do

· Lead business development, building and sustaining a strong pipeline of consulting opportunities

· Create and nurture client relationships, ensuring success is measured by outcomes and trust

· Partner with the Claire to shape Empact's strategy and future direction

· Guide and mentor a high-performing consulting team, fostering collaboration and impact

· Drive commercial growth through strategic partnerships and positioning in competitive markets

· Champion Empact's values, ensuring they are visible in every engagement and decision

What you'll need

· Senior leadership experience (GM, MD, or equivalent) with a strong commercial mindset

· Proven business development track record building networks, spotting opportunities, and converting them

· Demonstrated ability to execute strategy and shape growth pathways in competitive markets.

· Confidence in managing senior client relationships and leading client-facing teams

· Strong grasp of consulting operations resource management, commercial pipelines, contracts, and risk

· Knowledge of Canberra's consulting and government landscape and / or networks in other markets.
