About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Curry & Naan Chef to join the talented culinary team at Touch of India, a popular Indian restaurant located in Indooroopilly, Queensland. As a Curry & Naan Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian curries and naan breads to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of Indian curry dishes using traditional spices and techniques

Cooking naan breads in a tandoor oven to perfection

Ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation

Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Adhering to all food safety and health regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Curry & Naan Chef in an Indian restaurant

Comprehensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, herbs, and cooking techniques

Proficiency in using a tandoor oven for naan bread preparation

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A passion for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes
