What you’ll be doing:
If you live local, you might know our Newman centre, that has recently appointed a new director ? At the start of your day, you’ll walk pass our award-winning nature scape thriving with play and learning (and smile). You’ll lead a close-knit team of educators, ensuring our children enjoy an inclusive, safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment that will feel warm and welcoming to both the children and families. You’ll promote our ‘School ReadY’ program and manage compliance. At the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door (still smiling) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
- Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Hold a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Previous experience in children services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-yr olds
- Have storng knowledge of compliance in an ECE setting
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
- Have experience in remote/regional area's
