• Monday – Friday 6 am till 2 pm
• Capable of standing on your feet all day and lifting to 25kg

About us

Based in Oakleigh South this business is a manufacturer of glass products and supply to the manufacturing, residential and commercial industry around Melbourne. As a Factory Hand you will be responsible for meeting production deadlines aimed at glass processing to ensure continuous operation.

This is a Temp to Perm position after a successful 6-month probation period.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manual handling of glass products around factory
• Load and unload glass products from the front or rear of machines
• RF scanning stickers on glass products and trollies (Training Provided)
• Quality control to inspect sheet glass for flaws and defects
• Any other glass production duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

• Work in a team to assist with daily production requirements
• Good attitude, willing to learn and takes initiative
• Background in manufacturing or production is desirable
• Capable of standing on your feet all day and lifting to 25kg

These roles will suit a Production worker, General Hand, Factory Hand, Machine Operator or Process Worker who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.
