About the business and the role

ASM Sheetmetal in Bayswater is looking for a Factory Hand to join our growing team at a casual rate of $36 per hour and a full time permanent rate to be negotiated after a short trail period.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

We are a leading manufacturer of custom made Electrical switchboard cubicles and general Sheetmetal work.

- Hands on role sanding and cleaning our sheet metal cabinets.

- Must be fit, reliable, enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team

- Must be able to work with little supervision

- Must have basic PPE – steel cap boots

- We work a 38 hour week

- Monday – Thursday 7:00 - 3:30

- Friday 7:00 - 1:00

Lots of overtime available

Skills and experience

Ability to read and speak English

Forklift license would also be an advantage

Manufacturing experience is preferred for this Factory Hand position
