We are seeking an experienced Senior Generalist Solicitor to join a respected Community Legal Centre in Broken Hill. This role goes beyond standard practice, it's about delivering access to justice, shaping social change, and leading within a values-driven community organisation.

What you'll do

Provide high-quality, free and accessible legal services to vulnerable communities in Far West NSW.

Represent clients in Broken Hill and Wilcannia Local Courts, including duty lawyer services.

Deliver outreach to towns including Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, Tibooburra and White Cliffs.

Contribute to community legal education and law reform to strengthen access to justice.

Mentor and guide legal practitioners, supporting a collaborative, community-focused team.

About you

At least 3 years' post-admission experience with an unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate.

Strong experience in legal advice, advocacy, and representation, ideally with disadvantaged clients.

Confident working across diverse areas of law with autonomy and resilience.

Skilled in mentoring, team collaboration, and community engagement.

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally with a team for outreach work
