ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time role is based primarily at Broadmeadows, with flexibility to also support the Dandenong site on a semi-regular basis.

This position will see you working across two companies, providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, managing reporting cycles, and supporting both operational and strategic decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee payroll, BAS/IAS, and compliance requirements across multiple states

Prepare monthly management reports, reconciliations, and financial packs

Maintain fixed asset and hire purchase registers

Partner with project and engineering teams to support billing, costing, and reporting

Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making

Assist the Finance Manager and CFO with ad hoc projects and reporting

ABOUT YOU

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA desirable)

3+ years’ experience in management accounting, bookkeeping, or financial accounting roles

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements

Confident using accounting systems (Xero and similar) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and organisational skills

Ability to adapt, prioritise, and work across two business entities when needed

Team-oriented mindset, with humility, drive, and people smarts
