Duty Manager(s) - Casual & Full Time roles available -

The Brickmakers Arms in Brompton is seeking Duty Managers to join our close-knit team, with both full time and casual positions available.

We are a privately owned pub with a strong focus on food & drinks.

No Gaming.

With this role you will be working closely with the Venue Manager and owners to further your knowledge of all things hospitality and be given the opportunity to grow as a leader.

We will be looking for some of those day to day qualities that make Venues tick

Good communication, approachable and personable nature

Interest in craft beverage, good spirit & wine knowledge

An understanding of food operation and cuisine

Stock control, ordering, planning

Time table and roster management

Back of house till operation

Experience in a fast-paced service environment

Sound computing skills, emailing, taking reservations

Ability to liaise and converse with multiple age groups and demographics

And really we would require

A minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality

Hold a responsible service of alcohol (RSA)

Responsible Person Approval is preferred but not essential

Able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends

There is no doubt all of these skills are important, however regardless of these we will be very interested to talk to people with a great attitude, vibrant enthusiasm and serious service orientation.
