Our client is an alcohol and beverage company based in north-east in Melbourne who is looking for a laboratory technologist with knowledge of analytical chemistry.

About the role:

• Based in the North-Eastern Suburbs
• Experience with HPLC and GC
• Casual full-time contract until December 2025
• Flexible to work across day, afternoon and night shift
• Immediate Start
• Attractive Salary

Duties:

• Analytical testing & sample management (HPLC, GC)
• Maintain and calibrating equipment
• Utilise SAP to receipt samples and record results
• Documentation and development of Standard Operating procedures and training programs as required
• Provide trends and reports to improve quality performance

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in chemistry or food science or related fields
• Analytical chemistry skills and knowledge
• Developed organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Developed computer skills and report writing capabilities.
• SAP and GLP experience is ideal
• Knowledge and application of OHSE specific to laboratories
• Proficiency in chromatographic analytical instrumentation – HPLC and/or GC
