About the role

Mesh & Bar Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Steel Loader to join our team in Craigieburn, VIC. This position is an day shift role, 7am – 3.30pm. This role is responsible for loading and unloading steel products efficiently and safely, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. As a Steel Loader, you will play a vital part in the smooth operation of our production and distribution facility in Craigieburn.

What you'll be doing

Safely load and unload steel products from delivery trucks using an overhead crane, forklifts and other equipment

Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

Assist in the organisation and storage of products in the warehouse

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes safely and efficiently

Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and policies

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics or distribution role, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry (beneficial, not required)

Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment (beneficial, not required)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
