SSAF Australia, based in Sunbury, has a vacancy for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our staff on a full-time basis for our manufacturing business.

About the Role

An integral part of the business your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

Fabricating stainless steel products from supplied drawings

Assisting in the manufacturing of conveyors, benches, frames, and other equipment, etc.

Cutting, folding, measuring, of sheet metal materials

Double checking of your work with a keen eye for fine detail

Delivering a high standard of MIG and TIG welding works

Weekend availability required and overtime often available

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar position you’ll have/be:

Understanding and ability to work from technical drawings.

Ability to TIG & MIG weld stainless steel and aluminium

Willing to learn new skills and expand your current skill set

Comfortable working within a team environment

A current manual drivers’ licence & own transport

A Forklift and EWP licence is an advantage
